‎🍨 Homemade Pista Ice Cream Recipe – Creamy & Nutty Delight!

‎📝 Ingredients:

‎Full cream milk – 2 cups

‎Fresh cream – 1 cup

‎Condensed milk – 1/2 cup

‎Sugar – 1/4 cup (adjust to taste)

‎Pistachios (unsalted) – 1/2 cup (ground + few chopped for garnish)

‎Cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp

‎Green food color – few drops (optional)

‎Vanilla or pista essence – 1/2 tsp



‎🍳 Instructions:

‎1. Prepare Pistachios:

‎Soak pistachios in warm water for 15 minutes.

‎Peel the skin and grind them into a coarse paste. Keep some finely chopped pistachios aside for garnishing.


‎2. Make the Base:

‎In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat the full cream milk.

‎Add sugar and stir continuously until it dissolves completely.

‎Let it simmer for 5–7 minutes on low heat.


‎3. Add Flavors:

‎Add ground pistachio paste to the milk.

‎Stir in cardamom powder and food color (if using).

‎Let it cool completely.


‎4. Mix & Whip:

‎In a large bowl, mix fresh cream and condensed milk.

‎Add the cooled pista mixture.

‎Add pista or vanilla essence and mix well.


‎5. Freeze:

‎Pour the mixture into an airtight container.

‎Freeze for 6–8 hours or until firm.

‎For creamier texture: After 2–3 hours, take it out, blend once, and freeze again.
